*There will be no open gym hours during Parks and Rec activities. A schedule with these activities and times will be posted outside the gym doors. The walking/running track hours will not be effected by Parks and Rec activities.
1st – 4th Grade Basketball
Season Dates: April 18 – June 30
Location: North Park (Carousel Diamond)
Fee: $55.00 ($65.00 starting Jan 27)
Final Registration Deadline: February 9, 2026
Skills Night: March 9th, 6:00 PM – 7:30 PM at the Rec Center.
Practice Schedule: * Saturdays (1.5 hours as scheduled) at the Carousel Diamond starting April 18th.
Monday evening practices begin May 4th.
Once games start, practice times will be determined by coaches.
Games: Starting Around May 15th. Typically Tuesday/Thursday and some Wednesdays. We play within the CIRL (Central Iowa Rec League).
Description: Designed to ease players into baseball rules. Features player/coach pitch, called strikeouts, and innings ending with 3 outs or 5 runs.
All soccer games and practices are held at the Soccer Fields located off Holm Street, behind American Packaging.
