Congratulations to the Story City/Lafayette Township Fire Department who received the department award and to Chief Lysle MacDonald who received the outstanding individual award from the Iowa Firefighters Association. The awards recognize both department’s and individual’s that have been supporters of fire services such as: fire prevention, legislation, convention, membership, etc. As a community, we are honored to have such outstanding individuals who are dedicated and committed to the safety of our community.
