The Street Maintenance Department of Story City is dedicated to providing a reliable and functional street system for residents and visitors. Brush Site

BRUSH/COMPOST SITE RULES

NO stumps, root balls or logs over 6″ in diameter and over 8′ in length
NO material from outside of Story City Corporate limits is allowed
NO rocks, concrete, trash of any kind, including plastic bags
Compost must be separated from brush before dumping

The city brush site is for the dumping of 6″ logs, brush, grass clippings, leaves, weeds, and garden waste only. It is open only to Story City residents and property owners.

COMMERCIAL USERS

*YARD AND TREE WASTE FROM COMMERCIAL PROJECTS IS NOT ACCEPTED AT THIS SITE*

Story City companies providing yard clean-up services for residents may leave compost. Brush and wood chips must be dumped at the North site. An Arborists License is needed to dump at the North site. This can be found on our website or at City Hall.

VIOLATORS WILL LOSE PRIVILEGE TO THIS SITE
